This is the basic install of a steel garage door. Please do NOT try to change broken or worn out springs on your own!! This is a job for a professional. The springs have a lot of tension on them and if you do not release the pressure properly it can cause the spring to forcefully eject and can cause serious injury or death. Secured Entries, Inc. has the professional tools and the experience needed to release springs without getting hurt. Please do NOT try this at home! Secured Entries also advises their clients to have their garage door checked once per year. This will eliminate any large repairs later on. We will do a thorough inspection of your door and all of its parts to determine if anything requires immediate attention. We will also lube the door and all moving parts for you and run your door manually for you, which should be done once per year to keep everything in proper working order.
